Hi! We are from Saito College Fashion Design. We have a charity project called 'Dream IT Make IT' and our partner is House Of Joy ( Orphanage Home ) located in Puchong .
Why do we want to do this project?
The society now lacks the knowledge of abandoned children, and the children from the orphanage home are often lack of confidence and self esteem. They thought the society has abandoned them. Hence, we want to work with the orphans by giving them some art-making and social skills and inspiring them to be aware of that art is also a way to make a living.
What is the meaning of this project to us?
We have always been living in the life of the privileged, we have always thought what the children of the orphanage homes lack, always wanted to help them in a way, thus, instead of giving food and donating cash, why not by helping them in their future instead? Thus, we choose to formulate a workshop for them to teach them skills for their future use, so that they will be able to choose what they want to do in their future.
Does this project bring any meaning to the orphans?
From this project, the orphans will learn some crafting skill so that they can improve their living place, besides that they also will be more self-independent and confident when communicate with public and they will learn some living skill through art & design skills.

这个[Dream It Make It]的计划是与一间孤儿院( House of Joy)合作;

Sometimes some of my friends asked me “Why choose fashion design and is it hard to find a job after graduate? “ . Well….I replied them “Since form 3 I already set my target to be a fashion designer. When you have a clear target, then you will try your best to get the target “ Because I already have my target so I just follow my passion to become a dreamchaser. Just follow your passion to chase your dream when you are young because you are young, wild and free!
